Join the planning committee for the Language Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference!
The LSURC Committee is a great experience where you help to organize a research conference from scratch and see it come to life! Positions include Conference, Program, Logistics and HR chairs and planning starts around February.
Volunteers are also needed for set up, registration and facilitation the day the conferences.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help out!

Become a Peer Tutor!
You can help out your fellow students by tutoring for Linguistics courses.
We are currently looking for students to tutor for the upcoming year. If you received a grade of 85% or above in LING 200, 201, 300, 311 or 313, you are eligible to tutor for that course. This is a great opportunity for students to develop their leadership and facilitation skills while also getting the opportunity to meet more students in the faculty. At the end of the semester, tutors will receive a certificate from SALSA and a letter of commendation from a member of the Linguistics Department.
Send an email to email@example.com if you’re interested! We always welcome new tutors.

Become a Summer Camp Leader!
If you like kids and language, the Fun with English Language Summer Camp is for you!
SALSA offers both job and volunteer opportunities to students allowing them to plan and run the weekly camp each summer in July and August. The hiring and recruitment process usually happens around February, so keep your eye out for that!

You will also be invited to connect with future undergraduate students and share your experiences through SALSA’s networking events, speaker panels and more!

If at any time you’d like to leave our list, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know and we will remove your information.
